What do Mormons Believe?
I love the gospel for the joy and blessing it has brought to my life! While we share many familiar Christian beliefs, the restoration of the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ reveals many truths that were previously lost or hidden from plain sight. For instance, modern revelation confirms the divinity of Christ, clarifies our individual purpose in life, and reveals sacred covenants and blessings from our Heavenly Father which are available to everyone who desires them. Through personal revelation, a living prophet and apostles, and additional scripture, we can still personally hear and know the word of God. Each is entitled to their own personal confirmation of the truthfulness of His gospel through the Holy Ghost and not by another’s word alone. The only qualifications are prayer, sincerity and diligence! Our Heavenly Father loves each of us and desires to bless us with all that He has.

We believe that God has revealed, and continues to reveal important doctrine to his children. The Book of Mormon is an ancient record of His dealings with His children on the American continent beginning around 600 BC. It confirms the divinity of Christ and is a companion to the Holy Bible.
