This blog was created as an avenue for women to share faith affirming experiences, ideas, and personal witnesses of truth as they relate to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to collaboratively inspire, bless, strengthen and unify women to stand for something through creative expression. It would be a small miracle to impact just one life with its content.
♥ Alison, Host & Contributing Editor
Hi, I’m Ali! I am a mother to 3 little women and consider this the most important work I will ever do. My former jobs include model, executive assistant, office manager, makeup artist, and esthetician, but find the job of Mother most rewarding. In my free time, I love to sing, play the piano, write and spend time with my family. I am Mormon and I cherish my faith.
I spent my happy childhood years in Alberta, Canada and my teen years in Spokane. Since then, I have lived in Miami, New York City, Scottsdale, Seattle, Provo, Milan, Tokyo, Chapel Hill, but for now I proudly call the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, HOME. I love the simple and pure lifestyle it affords; it truly is the most beautiful place on earth.
♥ Marie, Co-Host & Contributing Editor
Welcome! I am Marie, a spunky redhead, glass blower (in a prior life), paddle boarder and mother to a miracle boy. I live in beautiful Seattle Washington amidst the pines. I attended Brigham Young University in Hawaii and finished my degree at BYU-Provo in Psychology. After completing my education I went on a mission for the LDS church to New York City, Spanish speaking. After returning home I worked for Franklin Covey, Nordstrom and AT&T Wireless. I also had the privilege of teaching at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah. After getting married, I taught seminary to the amazing youth of the church.
I am lucky enough to be a stay at home mother and try to enjoy every minute. When I’m not picking up Legos I enjoy running, Zumba, baking and writing….and mostly spending time with our little family, for it contains my heart and soul.

I just checked out your blog and website Pam…I laughed and nodded my head at the craziness that is Motherhood. What a great site! I can’t wait to read more.

Thanks so much for reading and your thoughtful words. I love your blog as well–and all of your amazing creativity and talent spilling over. Faith is such a personal thing and can incorporate so many vast aspects of truth…..but I wanted to share that each person is entitled to receive a real confirmation that there is a God, a witness that Christ lived and atoned, and personal and ongoing revelation and answers to prayer…..above and beyond the esoteric nature of energy and karma (although they have their place and power). Sending love your way. Happy New Year.

When I joined VB, I realized that there are a lot of moms who deeply cherish their faith- whatever it may be. I’m Catholic but when I read posts from Ali or Rosann (from http://christiansupermom.com) or Carla from (http://takingbackmylifemakingitmyown.blogspot.com), I realize that what we all have in common is the strength we hold on to because of our beliefs. And for that, I am truly blessed to be able to read such inspirational posts from equally inspirational women.
